Sekhmet's Guardian Lions of War

Sekhmet’s Lion Guardians of War are all spirits who were warriors in life and swore fealty to Sekhmet. The reward for their piety was being fused with the primal and noble power of the lion, and other large felines, giving them the ability to turn into a large predatory cat and new, varied capabilities. Lions are the most common form among them but there are a few other predatory cats. They can appear as either a predatory cat or a human, but they do not have a hybrid form. Each one has unique colorings that they wear like a badge of honor in their feline form, but they can take on the coloring of ordinary creatures. As for their human selves, they are mostly from Egypt but a small collection of individuals have been chosen from throughout history. The Lion Guardians of War are all brusque individuals in one way or another, not wanting to waste time on pleasantries when a point can be made with direct and clear information, but they are also very loyal and think of aiding their human as an extension of serving Sekhmet. They are brave, intelligent, and not prone to openly showing emotion. As always, there are the exceptions. Understandably, they are all protector beings but they also have their own, individual capabilities which can be applied and are helpful in the everyday. They are Dark Art spirits.

Naturally, having a Guardian Lion of War will improve your connection to Sekhmet. Working with Sekhmet is not necessary to bond with your Lion of War successfully, but if Sekhmet takes a liking to you, she may initiate contact.
